My goal is to help students become confident mathematical thinkers. Through inquiry, discussion, and problem solving, students learn to ask questions, explain their thinking, and truly understand the 'why' behind mathematics.
Whether they need extra support, are looking for a greater challenge, or simply want to enjoy math more, every student is encouraged to grow at their own pace in a positive, supportive environment.
With 10 years of experience teaching mathematics at a private Bay Area middle school, I bring a classroom teacher’s perspective to every student I work with. I take the time to understand where each student is and what they need to succeed, creating a supportive environment where they can build understanding, confidence, and independence in math.
